From August 19 to 22, 2026, Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages is hosting the XV International Summer School of Political Scientists on the theme “Political Institutions in Conditions of Global Uncertainty: Between Internal Stability and External Challenges.” The event is jointly organized by the Association of Political Studies of Kazakhstan, Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, and the Kazakhstan Center for Humanitarian and Political Conjuncture.

The Joint-Stock Company “Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages” (hereinafter referred to as the “Educational Organization”) hereby informs students of the procedure for submitting applications, competitive allocation of dormitory places, and accommodation in dormitories for the 2026–2027 academic year.

On August 10, Kazakhstan officially celebrates Abai Day, marking the birthday of the great Kazakh poet, philosopher, composer, and founder of modern Kazakh written literature. On August 10, 2026, a delegation from Ablaikhan University, led by Acting Chairperson of the Management Board – Rector D.A. Kunanbayeva, took part in the flower-laying ceremony in honor of Abai Kunanbayuly, held at Abai Square in Almaty. The ceremony was also attended by the Akim of Almaty, D. Satybaldy, as well as prominent representatives of the fields of education, science, and the arts.

On July 29, 2026, Dana Anuvarbekovna Kunanbayeva, Acting Chair of the Management Board – Rector of Kazakh Ablai Khan Kazakh UIR&WL, presented the University's report on student support and social work for the 2025–2026 academic year as part of the implementation of the directive issued by Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The report was reviewed by Akerke Abylaikhan, Deputy Chair of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From July 13 to 18, 2026, teachers of the Department of Romance Languages of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages Baktiyarova R.M., Turdieva D.A. and Bessirova N.S. completed a professional development program at the University of Francophonie (Nice, France). 

On July 2, 2026, the Faculty of Oriental Studies held a graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026. The event became a memorable and meaningful occasion for graduates, faculty members, parents, and guests, bringing together joy, pride, heartfelt congratulations, and warm words of encouragement.

On July 1, 2026, the day the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan officially entered into force, Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages held a ceremonial presentation of the country's Fundamental Law to its graduates.
