Within the framework of celebration of the 75th anniversary of the University on April 19, 2017, the Opening Ceremony of the Confucius Center was held on the basis of Kazakh Ablai khan University of international Relations and world Languages, in cooperation with the Southwestern University of the People's Republic of China. The rector of Kazakh Ablai khan University of international Relations and world Languages and MIA SS took part.

In the Republic of Kazakhstan, there are 5 Confucius Centers, designed to interact and support in studying the culture of China, the Chinese language, and also to assist in the training of Oriental scholars in the humanities.
