On 21-23 of January, KazUIR&WL hosted annual sports competitions among faculty and staff, organized by the trade union committee of the University. The sports program included the following types among male and female teams: volleyball, table tennis, chess.
The opening of the sports games began with volleyball, where 8 teams took part. Unlike last year, changes have taken place in this sport - both men and women took part in the team. According to the results: the first place was taken by the “Faculty of Economics and Law”, which defended their title as winners, the second was “Faculty of Oriental Studies”, and the third with the young team “IT-s” went to third place.
The next day, volleyball was replaced by another sport - table tennis, where the intrigue also lasted until the last. Well, the marathon ended with table tennis.

According to the results of the sports games, the team places were distributed as follows: I-st place "Faculty of Oriental Studies", II-nd place "Faculty of Economics and Law" and III-d place "Pedagogical Faculty of Foreign Languages". All participants and teams were awarded a commemorative certificate and medals.
