Head of the Arabic language section of the Department of Eastern Philology, master Amanzhol S.T. on 05.12.2023 held a festive event “Arabic is a world language” dedicated to International Arabic Language Day. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, c.pol.s., prof. Kagazbaeva E.M., head of the department, c.phil.s., prof. Burkitbay G.Zh., Ph.D., Ass. prof. Kozhabekova Sh.B., c.phil.s., prof. Yesenzhan D.A. ,master, senior teacher Mazhikenova Zh.U., master, senior teacher Manasheva M.B. and etc.
During the event, a guest lecture was held with PhD Sadybaev K.T. - Arabic scholar, translator, specialist in Arabic manuscripts, translator of Abai’s collection of poems and poems into Arabic, author of the course “Ayat Syrlary” and the books “Biography of Sultan Zahir Beybarys”, “RIZYQ”, etc.
Competitions in reading Arabic poetry, solving crossword puzzles and quizzes on the “Kahoot” platform were organized among students of the Arabic section of Ablai khan KazUIR and WL and the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture, and the winners were awarded letters of gratitude. Students gained a deeper understanding of the Arabic language and increased their spiritual interest.
