On February 2, 2024, in the Great Hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an online event was held on the topic “Introduction to Chinese civilization - Poetic Chang'an, memory of a brilliant civilization,” organized jointly with the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China. From our university, the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Professor E.M. took part in this event.
Kagazbaeva, professor of the Confucius Institute Shi Longwei, teacher Hu Hongyu, senior teachers of the Department of Translation of Oriental Languages Adilali Zh and Ashimbaeva A, teacher of the Department of Oriental Philology Mellat D, as well as 1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The event program included: an information review on the topic “Entering Chinese Civilization”; interactive communication with representatives of the embassies of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan; online concert “New Year’s dragons and lions dance for the New Year.”
