A delegation from the South Korean Sungkyunkwan University headed by the Professor Suke Kyu Lee, Vice-President for international relations, visited our University on December 13, 2016. Professor of sociology Hong Joon Yoo, Professor of the Department of Law Jae HO Sung, coordinator of The Office of International Relations Lee Myeongin were also on a delegation.
The Sungkyunkwan University is located in Seoul, South Korea. It is the oldest university in Korea, its history begins since it was founded as a Confucian Academy Sungkyunkwan in 1398. During the meeting both parties discussed mutually beneficial cooperation between our universities, issues of academic mobility, and double diploma programs. Sungkyunkwan University offers the opportunity for students of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages to study Humanities and social rights by the exchange programs in English language.
