"Implementation of the Quality Assurance System through University-Business-University Cooperation in Universities"

    Between February 26-27, 2018, the University of Craiova hosts the first meeting of the Erasmus +: Higher Education - International Capacity Building project “Implementation of Education Quality Assurance System through the Cooperation of University - Business-Government in HEIs (EDUQAS)”.

    The main objective of the project is to improve education quality assurance systems through development of efficient internal quality standards leading to better employability of students in Partner Countries Universities. The internal QA system will be based on analysis of needs and capacities in Kazakh and Ukrainian HEIs, experiences and best practices from the successful QA action line of the Bologna Process.

    The three-year EDUQAS project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program. The consortium includes representatives of universities from Ukraine, Romania, Belgium, France, Latvia, Sweden, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan was represented by two universities: Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (Almaty) and the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade (Astana) with the active participation and support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

    During the meeting presentations of all members of the consortium were presented, roles and responsibilities for working packages were defined, and issues of project and financial management were discussed. Also, the quality assurance system at the University of Craiova was considered.
