We invite everyone to take part in the competition "Expressive reading of words of edification and poems of Abai in Kazakh and Chinese languages" among students studying at the Department of Chinese at Universities in Almaty, dedicated to the works of the great poet, educator of the Kazakh people Abai Kunanbayuly, organized by the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan and the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Translation of Oriental Languages and the Confucius Institute at KazUIR and WL .
The aim of the contest is to immerse Abai's creativity deep into the hearts of the younger generation and immerse the youth in the mysterious secrets of the world of Abai. Propaganda of Abai's legacy, parables, philosophical views.
The competition consists of two stages:
The 1st stage, the participants of the competition expressively recite by heart any words of edification of Abai on the topics of education and science in Kazakh and Chinese. The execution time should not exceed 3 minutes.
The 2nd stage, the participants perform Abai's poems in Kazakh and Chinese with artistic skills by heart. The time should not exceed 3 minutes.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until November 25.
Time of the contest: December 1, 2022 at 11: 00 am.
Place: Building 3, KazUIR and WL, Blue Hall.
