The Joint-Stock Company “Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages” (hereinafter referred to as the “Educational Organization”) hereby informs students of the procedure for submitting applications, competitive allocation of dormitory places, and accommodation in dormitories for the 2026–2027 academic year.
- SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR DORMITORY PLACEMENT
The main application period for 2nd–4th year students is from 10 to 23 August 2026 inclusive.
Applications are submitted through the student’s personal account in the HeRo Study Space information system, as well as by other methods provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Rules for the Allocation of Places in the Dormitories of the Educational Organization.

First-year students submit applications in August 2026 as the student body is formed.
Important: applications will continue to be accepted after 23 August 2026. Applications submitted later will be considered in the prescribed manner as they are received, subject to the availability of vacant places.
2.REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS AND ALLOCATION OF PLACES
Applications are reviewed by the Competitive Commission as they are received, taking into account the grounds and priority order established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Based on the results of the review, a decision is made either to provide a place in a dormitory or to issue a reasoned refusal.
- The initial list of 2nd–4th year students for accommodation will be formed on the basis of applications reviewed by 24 August 2026.
- For applications reviewed later, additional lists will be formed as decisions are made by the Competitive Commission.

3.DORMITORY ACCOMMODATION
Actual accommodation of students in the dormitories of the Educational Organization, including first-year students, will begin on 25 August 2026.
Actual accommodation is carried out after a decision to provide a dormitory place has been made, the required documents have been completed, medical clearance has been obtained, a dormitory accommodation services agreement has been concluded, and the payment conditions stipulated by the agreement have been fulfilled.
The specific place of residence is determined in accordance with the procedure established by the Educational Organization, taking into account available places, actual dormitory capacity, and the condition of the housing stock. In cases provided for by the established procedure, students may be given the opportunity to choose from available options.
4.DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ACTUAL ACCOMMODATION
To move into a dormitory, students must provide:
- a dormitory placement referral;

- an identity document;
- Medical Certificate Form 075/у and completion of the required medical clearance procedure;
- two 3 × 4 cm photographs;
- confirmation of payment for dormitory accommodation services.
Before actual accommodation, a dormitory accommodation services agreement is concluded with the student.
5.PERIOD OF RESIDENCE AND PAYMENT
The period of residence is specified in the agreement, taking into account the academic calendar of the relevant educational programme and year of study.
The cost of accommodation is calculated based on the period specified in the agreement and the current Price List. For an incomplete calendar month, the amount is calculated in accordance with the established procedure.
Where continued residence after the expiry of the agreement is duly formalized, the applicable daily rate is charged based on the actual number of days of residence.
Upon expiry of the period of residence, the student must vacate the occupied place no later than 12:00 noon on the day following the last day of the residence period. Remaining in the dormitory until that time solely for the purpose of vacating the place and departure is not considered an extension of residence and is not subject to additional payment.
