On October 25, 2025, the international contest “Best Student of Turkic Peoples – 2025” was held in Astana, organized by the National Scientific and Innovation Center “Bіlіm Örkenietі” and the Republican Innovation Research Center “Jaña Qazaqstan.”  Aruzhan Azamatkyzy Askarbayeva, a 4th-year student of the program 6V02201 – Oriental Studies at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, participated in this international competition. Her academic supervisor was PhD, Associate Professor Zhanar Ongarovna Yesserkepova.

On October 25, 2025, at the international competition “The Best Student of the Turkic Nations” held in Astana, the 3rd-year students of Group 302, majoring in Foreign Philology at the Department of Eastern Philology, Faculty of Oriental Studies, achieved outstanding results and were awarded the First-Degree Diploma!

On October 24, 2025, a delegation from Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, represented by Acting Chair of the Board – Rector D.A. Kunanbayeva and Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs T.V. Seryozhkina, took part in the round table “UN Day - 80th Anniversary of the United Nations,” held at UN Plaza in Almaty.

From October 20 to 24, 2025, Ablai Khan University hosted the traditional “Ұлттық диктант” (National Dictation), organized at the initiative of the International Society of the Kazakh Language within the framework of the national project “Ұлттық диктант.” This event became an important milestone in the educational and cultural life of the university, aimed at supporting and promoting the Kazakh language as an integral part of national identity.

On October 23, 2025, Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL hosted a major international conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, and the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized in cooperation with the Department of Public Development of Almaty City and the Council of Young Scientists of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Almaty.

The Department of Linguistics and ICT organized a series of events for first-year students dedicated to the significant date of October 25 – Republic Day.

In October 2025, as part of the international cultural and educational event “Arabic Language Month in Kazakhstan,” organized by the King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an international conference, seminars, and student competitions were held.

On October 21, 2025, students of the Faculty of International Communications met with representatives of the Italian University IULM (Milan), one of the leading European universities in the field of media, communications and tourism, at the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Ablai Khan.

On October 21, 2025, Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages hosted a meeting with invited lecturer Professor Simon Thompson from the University of Sussex (United Kingdom). The event brought together faculty members of Postgraduate School, as well as master’s and doctoral students enrolled in the following study programs: “7M01711 – Training of Foreign Language Teachers,” “7M02311 – Translation Studies,” “7M02313 – Foreign Philology,” “8D01721 – Training of Foreign Language Teachers,” “8D02321 – Translation Studies,” “8D02322 – Foreign Philology.”
