On June 12, 2026, within the framework of the International Forum BRI-2026: “China – Central Asia: Digital Silk Road, Education and Innovation,” an international round table entitled “The Belt and Road Initiative and China’s Economic Diplomacy in Central Asia” was held at the Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.

Every year, the Faculty of Translation and Philology at the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages conducts a cultural exchange program aimed at fostering intercultural communication and enhancing students’ language skills. This initiative is implemented within the framework of international cooperation and contributes to strengthening academic ties between Kazakhstan and the United States.

On June 11, 2026, the International Forum BRI-2026 “China–Central Asia: The Digital Silk Road, Education, and Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.

On June 8, 2026, third-year students of the Program "6B02201 - Oriental Studies" of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Kazakh Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (KazUIR&WL), D.S. Kalilayeva and E.V. Mayakov, became prize winners of the national scientific essay competition entitled "The Relationship between Labour Migration and Sustainable Development in the Context of a Gender Approach", organized by Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.

On June 4, 2026, the psychologist of Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Mukhabbat Armanovna Nizamudin, participated in a meeting of psychologists from higher education institutions in Almaty. The event was organized by the International Educational Corporation as part of an initiative aimed at promoting professional experience exchange and strengthening interuniversity cooperation. The meeting was held at KazGASA and brought together representatives of psychological services from universities across Almaty.

Traditionally, June 4 is celebrated in Kazakhstan as the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The holiday was established in 2007 and has since become a symbol of respect for the country's state attributes—the Flag, the Coat of Arms, and the National Anthem. The date was chosen deliberately, as it was on June 4, 1992, that the state symbols of independent Kazakhstan were officially approved.

As Kazakhstan continues to modernize its scientific and educational system through comprehensive reforms, the contributions of distinguished scholars who helped lay the foundations of the country’s higher education and research institutions remain central to the nation’s progress. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the state and the scientific community have once again recognized individuals whose decades of service have shaped the nation’s intellectual landscape and guided the strategic development of Kazakhstani science.

On May 28, 2026, within the framework of the V Eurasian Economic Forum held in Astana, representatives of the International Communications Management Faculty of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Aitbaeva G.D. and Rakymzhanova S.S., participated in the panel sessions titled “Modern Digital Solutions in Tourism: Experience of the EAEU Countries” and “Development of the EAEU Labor Market Using Digital Tools.”

As part of the academic mobility programme for 3rd-year students of the Educational Programme “Oriental Studies,” an establishing conference was held on 28 May 2026 in preparation for the upcoming academic internship in Japan.

On May 26, 2026, the delegation of Ablaikhan University headed by Acting Chairperson of the Management Board – Rector D.A. Kunanbayeva took part in the annual forum of the League of Academic Integrity “Building Trust in Higher Education,” held at SDU.
