In the period from October 19 to November 20, 2020, Kukmin University together with the National Research Institute of the Korean Language of the Republic of Korea, conducts advanced training courses, which are attended by teachers of the Korean language KazUIR&WL named after Ablai Khan.

From October 5 to October 26, 2020, at the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Ablai Khan (KazUIR & WL named after Ablai Khan) held "Online Korean language courses within the framework of the project for foreign practice in Central Asia 2020".

On October 22nd at 18:00, the guest of our Online-Randevu meeting in the Dilmar circle of the Faculty of Oriental Studies is Dr. Dilek Durak, a lecturer at the International Vision University in North Macedonia.

Ms. Dilek told the students about the Silk Road project, Turkey's ties with Central Asia, as well as strengthening ties with the Ulydag University in Bursa. During the meeting, she answered students' questions. Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Dinara Dauen thanked Ms. Dilek and informed that joint projects will be implemented in the future.

On October 24, 2020, the MUN Club at  Kazakh Ablai Khan University was held online youth conference dedicated to  the 75th anniversary of the United Nations.  As a honorable guests participated Representative of the Department of Global Communications Mr. V. Samek, from UNESCO B. Akbieva and the Dean of IR Faculty Khairullaeva V.Kh.  It should me noticed the enthusiasm and creativity of the organizers and speakers.

On the 14^th October at 16:00, the first online interview was held as part of the «ONLINE SOHBET» project of the Dilmar students club of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The first guest was a graduate of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Master of Turkish Folk Literature of Istanbul University, doctoral student of Ankara University Haji Bayram, interpreter of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ankara Laura Bolatova, who has extensive experience in simultaneous interpretation at various events.

Starting from October 5 to October 12 of 2020," Speaking week" was organized by activists of the “Student club” and students of the faculty of Oriental Studies of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages. The theme of the week was "Eastern languages in the modern world". The purpose of this event was to improve language skills among students with a help from teachers’ side due to lack of practice during online education, and special guests from foreign educational institutions were also invited.

The university de NOVA Lisboa is issuing a call for candidates for the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility programme.

Academic staff members of Languages, Education, Translation, International Relations and Regional Studies are invited to apply on online platform.

This call for candidates will allow the selected academic staff members to teaching at the university de NOVA Lisboa for the 2020/2021 academic year. All costs will be covered by programme.

On 5 September 2020, the 22nd Kazakhstan Oratory Competition in Japanese was held online. Honorary guests of the event were Ambassador extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasai Tatsuhiko, Chairman of the Association of Japanese businessmen in Kazakhstan Kazama Tatsuya. The moderator of the competition was the teacher of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages Andassova Maral Murzakalievna, the member of the jury was the teacher of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages Yugai Maria Robertovna.

The competition was attended by students of such universities as: Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Al Farabi Kazakh National University,L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, as well as students of Ichikawa schools and the Kazakh-Japanese center in Almaty and Nur-Sultan.
