The students of journalists specialty of our university (Khazhym Damir and Tyumentsev Alexey - the scientific adviser professor Gazinur Gizdatov) took part (delivered on-line reports) in the students work-shop "The language of revolution: text and context" (Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Zurich , Switzerland) in November, 2017. The topic of the articles were diverse and relevant.

On  November 27-28  2017, the training seminar "Creative Leadership" was held within the framework of the "Рухани жаңғыру" by 3-4 year students of the Faculty of International Relations.

At november 15, 2017 in the framework of the implementation of the University Road Map "Rukhani zhangyru", the department of Regional studies together with the Faculty of International Relations, the Faculty of East Studies, the Faculty of Economic and Law, Pedagogical Faculty of Foreign languages, the Faculty of Translate and Philology and the Faculty of Menegment and International Communications held a creative evening with famous theater and cinema figures of Kazakhstan:

November 8, 2017 students and teachers (Kaliyeva A.A., Shukizhanova A.N.) of "Regional Studies" department for the purpose of cultural and educational development visited the Kazakh State Academic Drama Theater named after M.M. Auezov, performance of I. Saparbay "Sygan serenadasy". In general viewers were impressed by the performance of actors.

By the decision of the Bid Evaluation Committee of KazUIR&WL 56 students of our university have successfully passed the competitive selection for participation in the academic mobility program for the spring semester of 2017-2018 academic year and for studying at the foreign partner universities. By the Decree of President of Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev Galiev Jean Serzhanovich was appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the French Republic.

In the library of  Kazakh Ablai khan university of international relations and world languages the action “Bookcrossing” has started. Everybody can take the book at the same time the read book can be left in this place.

BookCrossing (in Wikipedia) is defined as "the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise." The term is derived from bookcrossing.com, a free online book club which was founded to encourage the practice, aiming to "make the whole world a library."

On October, 31 Kazakh Ablai khan University held the meeting of University students and representatives of the Almaty Office of Public Prosecutor and Almaly district Management of Internal Affairs. The prosecutor of the Office of the Prosecutor's Office of Almaty, the police captain Iskakov A.A. said about necessary to know about legal and administration law and students should not afford the offences.

In October,17th  2017 year in the State program format for modernization of social thought «Bolashakka bagdar: Ruhani Zhangiru» Kazakh Ablai khan university of international relations and world languages and the primary party organization of the party "Nur Otan" "Almaly-Ablai Khan" held Scientific and practical seminar «Alash kozgalysy zhane ruhani zhangiru».

On October 3-5, 2017, students of the Faculty of International Relations took part in the training seminar "The Kazakhstan Way: Мәңгілік ел", held by the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan-Elbassy (Astana). At the end of the training seminar, the students received certificates and the book «Біздін Президент», signed by the Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor M. Kasymbekov.
