In early October, the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (Ablai Khan KazUIR&WL) hosted a series of events dedicated to one of the most significant dates in Korean culture - the 579th anniversary of Korean Alphabet Day (Hangeul Day). The event was organized by the Center for Korean Studies with the support of the Education Center at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. As part of the celebration, several competitions were held, allowing students to showcase their talents and the depth of their knowledge of the Korean language.

From September 17 to October 10 of the current year, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan successfully implemented a professional development program for university leaders at ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev in Almaty.

On October 9, our university hosted one of the most delicious and anticipated events - a kimbap making contest! Kimbap is one of the most popular dishes in Korean cuisine, consisting of rice and various fillings wrapped in sheets of dried seaweed.

On October 8, 2025, at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (KazUIR&WL), Acting Rector Dana Anuvarbekovna Kunanbayeva held a meeting with a delegation from Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) - one of the oldest and most prestigious public universities in the Republic of Korea.

On October 8, 2025, the Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL hosted a seminar on «Financial Security in the Digital Space», organized in collaboration with the Anti-Fraud Center of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On October 7, 2025, at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, a meeting was held between students, academic staff and representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on the topic “Healthy Mind – Foundation of a Sustainable Society.” The event was dedicated to the prevention of five major social negative phenomena, the promotion of the principles of the “Adal Azamat” project, and the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

On October 7, 2025, the Faculty of Translation and Philology at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages organized a meeting with the philologist, translator, and editor Nazgul Kozhabek.

A master class on “Creative Approaches in Multimedia Journalism” was held at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.

On October 5, 2025, the Confucius Institute at Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages held a Chinese essay writing competition with the theme "Confucius Institute Day 2025 - The Wisdom of Confucius and Abai".

With the aim of enriching theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of alternative dispute resolution and judicial practice, on October 3, 2025, the Department of international law of JSC “Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages” organized a guest lecture on the topic “Judicial Mediation in Kazakhstan” with the participation of Inessa Kuаnova Zainullovna - Candidate of legal sciences, judge, and qualified mediator with extensive practical experience, for 3rd-year students of the educational program “6B042 – Law”.
