On February 21, 2025, a guest lecture was held at the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business for students of the educational program "International Business" on the topic: "Formation of career expectations: realism vs. ambition". The lecture was given by Sadykova Aigul Mashurovna who is a member of the Board of Directors and independent director of JSC "Freedom Finance Insurance", a specialist with 20 years of experience in the field of personnel management.
During the lecture, Sadykova Aigul Mashurovna covered the key aspects of forming career expectations, their balance between realism and ambition, as well as factors influencing professional development. The students learned about career building strategies, the importance of flexibility and adaptation to changing conditions of the labor market, the role of soft and hard skills in achieving professional goals. Particular attention was paid to issues of self-management, goal setting, career risk management and finding the optimal path for professional growth.
The lecture aroused active interest among students, who asked many questions related to real challenges in employment, the specifics of working in international companies and career growth prospects.
Concluding the meeting, Sadykova Aigul Mashurovna shared her personal professional insights and gave practical recommendations for successful career development in modern conditions.
