On March 1, 2025, the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Esbulatov organized the event "One day in the police" which hosted best 15 law students of our university. The leading teacher of the International Law Department, candidate of legal sciences N.S. Dzhetibaev acted as an accompanying person. This project is being implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the German GIZ community and the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and is aimed at building trust in the police and improving legal culture among young people.

On this day, our students were able to try on the role of a police officer: undergo professional training, get acquainted with the work of the forensic polygon, learn how modern technologies help in the fight against crime at the cyberpoligon. The students examined the forensic tactics "Combat methods of self-defense, first aid".

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aidar Saytbekov arrived at the Academy specifically to participate in the event, and he emphasized the importance of interaction between the police and the youth: "Young people are our future, and it depends on you what it will be like. When the police and the youth are together, when there is mutual understanding and trust, our society becomes stronger. Perhaps some of you will join our ranks in the future, and some will become active citizens helping to make this world a better place. The main thing is to remember: safety is our common responsibility! I hope this day will help you look at the world from a new angle".

The head of the GIZ Regional Program Stefan Buchmayer and the head of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kalizhan Koblandin attended this event. They emphasized the importance of such projects for the development of an open and professional police force focused on interaction with citizens and young people.
All participants of this event were awarded letters of gratitude.
We thank the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for a very important event, for the opportunity to see the daily work of the police from the inside.
