On April 7, 2025, a lecture titled “Global Leaders and Driving Forces: Nomads and Traders of Central Asia in World History” was held at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Prajakti Kalra, a research fellow at the Cambridge Forum on Central Asia, representing Jesus and Wolfson Colleges and the Cambridge Research Networks (UK).

The event was organized as part of the long-standing cooperation with the R.B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies. The lecture was attended by faculty members, master’s and doctoral students, as well as undergraduates who demonstrated keen interest in the topic.
