Every generation is entrusted with the noble duty of contributing to the development of their country. Young people who sense this responsibility early and strive to serve with sincere dedication are the true guarantee of Independent Kazakhstan’s bright future. One of the vivid representatives of such a purposeful generation is Yermek Eldana Aidynkyzy, a 4th-year student at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.
Eldana completed her pre-graduation/internship program at the Committee on International Relations, Defense, and Security of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gaining valuable insights into the workings of the state governance system. Each day spent within the Senate was a school of rich experience for the future international affairs specialist. She attended official committee meetings, analyzed international agreements, and delved deep into crucial matters concerning the country’s foreign policy and national security.
Demonstrating diligence, responsibility, and precision in her work, Eldana earned the trust of the committee's staff. Senators of the Parliament of Kazakhstan — Gennady Shipovskikh, Alisher Satvaldiev, and Galiyaskar Sarybayev — sent a special letter of recommendation to the university, highly praising Eldana’s professional preparedness and dedication. This was a great honor for Eldana and a symbolic beacon lighting her future path.
During her internship at the Senate, Eldana expresses profound gratitude to those who shared life experience and professional knowledge, and provided guidance. She particularly thanks Akmaral Torekhanqyzy Syrgabaeva, Head of the Department for Interaction with the Committee, as well as Karlygash Semeykhanqyzy Mendibayeva, Dana Zhanatqyzy Karmenova, Kamshat Zhubatkhanova, Almas Baglanuly Daniyarov, Madiyar Mukhtaruly Abdirakhman, Saule Amanbaikyzy, Ruslan Kaskyrbaiuly, and the members of the Organizing Department for their support and care.
Eldana also expresses special appreciation to her respected teachers who have always guided and inspired her — Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business Nuraiddin Aiyipuly Kudaibergenov, Leila Nurzhanovna Abdrazakova, and Balzhan Mansurqyzy Nyghmetova. A teacher’s word is a guiding light, and their advice — wings to fly.
“The internship at the Senate was more than just a practice period for me — it was a unique experience that shaped my professional mindset and strengthened my sense of civic responsibility,” Eldana shares emotionally.
The future of our country lies in the hands of such educated and patriotic youth. If we support and trust every step they take, our nation’s future will indeed be bright and solid.
