On April 29, 2025, a meeting was held between final-year university students and representatives of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Almaty Region.
During the meeting, the Head of the Department, Nursultan Seidaliyev, emphasized that the civil service today needs educated, proactive, and creative young people more than ever - those who are ready to work diligently for the benefit of society. He spoke in detail about the Agency’s initiatives aimed at attracting young professionals to government bodies.
Particular attention was paid to the opportunity for non-competitive appointments of the most capable and promising university graduates to entry-level positions in district and rural administrations. This initiative gives young professionals the chance to gain real experience in the public sector and contribute to solving urgent issues at the local level.
Mr. Seidaliyev also introduced the students to the "e-Qyzmet" system—an integrated electronic platform that allows candidates to apply for vacancies online 24/7. The system ensures transparency and openness of the selection process and provides equal access for all citizens to employment opportunities in public service.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Department answered students' questions regarding recruitment procedures, career development, internships, and the specifics of working in various public institutions. The students showed great interest, actively participated in the discussion, and expressed their gratitude for the valuable information shared.
