On August 10, the faculty of the Kazakh University named after Ablai Khan, headed by Acting Rector D.A. Kunanbayeva, took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Abai Kunanbayev. A large-scale flower-laying ceremony took place in front of the Palace of the Republic, where the largest monument to Abai in Almaty is located.
Here, to the sounds of the Otyrar Sazy orchestra, artists from the Baikadamov State Choir and the student choir of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory performed the works of the Kazakh poet.

Our students also became active participants in the challenge, which was launched by the Minister of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Nurbek in honor of the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayuly.
The students demonstrated their knowledge of the works of the Great Abai.
