On September 11, 2025, the Department of International Law organized a meeting with 2nd- and 4th-year students of the educational programs “International Relations”, “International Law”, and “Jurisprudence” to discuss the President’s Address of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the people of Kazakhstan.
A meaningful lecture was delivered by the Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of International Law Eduard Bulatovich Mukhamedzhanov, who emphasized the importance of the Address as a strategic document defining the vectors of the country’s further development. In his speech, the professor highlighted a number of key aspects, namely: strengthening the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary, systematic anti-corruption efforts and the formation of an anti-corruption culture among young people, expanding international cooperation and Kazakhstan’s participation in addressing global challenges, as well as the active role of students in implementing the President’s strategic initiatives. Special attention was paid to the role of the Constitution as the fundamental law of the country, emphasizing its importance in ensuring stability, protecting citizens’ rights and freedoms, and strengthening Kazakhstani democratic institutions.
During the meeting, students showed great interest, asked relevant questions, and discussed the significance of the outlined reforms for the future of Kazakhstan.
The event contributed to a deeper understanding of the main provisions of the President’s Address and highlighted the importance of training qualified specialists capable of actively participating in the building of a legal and prosperous state.
