On September 9, first-year students of the Faculty of Management and International Communications majoring in Tourism took an educational excursion to the house-museum dedicated to the life and work of the outstanding Kazakh educator, public figure, Teacher of the Nation - Akhmet Baitursynov. The excursion was organized within the framework of the academic discipline "Regional History and Tourism" by leading teachers of the Department of International Tourism Management Kirgizbaeva B.M., Bisarieva S.Sh. and Anuarkhan M.
The main goal of this event was to develop students' interest in the history of their native land, the spiritual and cultural heritage of its outstanding personalities, as well as to expand their tourist and local history knowledge and practical skills using the example of a specific historical site.
During the excursion, participants were provided with meaningful information about the life of Akhmet Baitursynov, his educational activities and socio-political heritage. In addition, the museum's exhibits contributed to the formation of a deep understanding of the educational mission and historical fate of the Kazakh intelligentsia of the early 20th century.
