As part of the project “Life is the Highest Value”, the Sana Public Foundation – School of Intellectual Youth, with the support of the Youth Policy Department of Almaty City, held a seminar on November 11 of this year at Meta University for deputy deans for youth work from higher education institutions in Almaty. The seminar covered the following topics: “Suicide Prevention,” “Prevention of Harmful Habits,” “Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases,” and “Sex Education.”
The purpose of the seminar was to inform faculty deputy deans about risk factors that negatively affect the mental and physical health of young people, to provide them with theoretical and practical knowledge on preventive measures, and to support them in promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventing risks among youth through effective methods and tools.
The university was represented by:
- Tenizbayev Yersain Nurlubaevich – Faculty of International Relations, Law and Business;
- Zhangarbaeva Samal Gabitovna – Pedagogical Faculty of Foreign Languages;
- Zyryanov Vladislav Konstantinovich – Faculty of Translation and Philology;
- Yesimova Manshuk Syilykovna – Faculty of Management and International Communication;
- Yershova Darya Valeryevna – Faculty of Oriental Studies.
At the end of the seminar, all deputy deans received certificates.
