On April 29, 2026, Almaty Management University hosted the 10th “24/7” Student Competition for students of the educational programs B091 “Tourism” and B093 “Restaurant and Hotel Business,” on the theme “Kazakhstan Travel Experience: New Ideas for the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.”

The goal of the competition was to develop students’ professional, analytical, and research competencies, as well as to encourage the development of innovative projects in the field of tourism and hospitality industry of Kazakhstan.
Students majoring in “Restaurant and Hotel Management”—Madiyar Kadirov, Roman Sklyar, and Sultanmakhmut Abdisalyk—participated in the competition, under the academic supervision of Associate Professor A.B. Zamanbekova, Ph.D. in Economics.

Based on the results of the competition among 13 teams from all regions of the republic, students from the Ablai Khan Kazakh National University of Management and Economics, majoring in “Restaurant and Hotel Business,” took the 2d place and were awarded with certificates and prizes, while their academic supervisor received a letter of appreciation.
