On June 4, 2026, the psychologist of Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Mukhabbat Armanovna Nizamudin, participated in a meeting of psychologists from higher education institutions in Almaty. The event was organized by the International Educational Corporation as part of an initiative aimed at promoting professional experience exchange and strengthening interuniversity cooperation. The meeting was held at KazGASA and brought together representatives of psychological services from universities across Almaty.

During the meeting, participants shared their experiences in providing psychological support to students, discussed current challenges related to youth mental health, and explored effective practices for the early identification of psychological distress. Particular interest was generated by colleagues’ experience in developing digital student profiles and implementing early warning systems for detecting psychological difficulties. Participants were introduced to practices involving digital risk maps that enable the timely identification of students requiring additional support, as well as interagency support models for students belonging to at-risk groups.

In addition, the attendees discussed issues related to first-year student adaptation, prevention of emotional burnout, support for students experiencing crisis situations, and ways to enhance cooperation between psychological services, faculty members, and academic advisors.

Participation in such professional events facilitates the exchange of successful practices, strengthens cooperation among universities in the city, and contributes to the improvement of psychological support systems for students.
The Psychological Service of Ablai Khan University continues to develop modern approaches to maintaining students’ psychological well-being and to implement effective preventive programs aimed at promoting mental health and resilience.
