On June 26, 2026, Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages hosted an information session with Laura Kalabayevna Paluanova, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan.

The event brought together university faculty and staff interested in expanding international cooperation and participating in European Union-funded projects.
For many years, the university has been an active participant in the Erasmus+ Programme, successfully implementing academic mobility projects in partnership with leading universities across Europe.
During the meeting, Laura Paluanova presented the latest information on Erasmus+ funding opportunities, with particular emphasis on the participation of Kazakhstani universities in Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), Jean Monnet, Erasmus Mundus, International Credit Mobility (KA171), and other key Erasmus+ initiatives.
Special attention was given to the practical aspects of preparing competitive project proposals, building international consortia, identifying reliable international partners, and understanding the key requirements of the Erasmus+ application process. Participants received practical recommendations for developing high-quality project proposals and had the opportunity to discuss issues related to the implementation of Erasmus+ initiatives at the university.
The meeting was conducted in the format of an open dialogue and provided an effective platform for sharing experiences, discussing future prospects, and strengthening the university’s project capacity.
