From August 19 to 22, 2026, Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages is hosting the XV International Summer School of Political Scientists on the theme “Political Institutions in Conditions of Global Uncertainty: Between Internal Stability and External Challenges.” The event is jointly organized by the Association of Political Studies of Kazakhstan, Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, and the Kazakhstan Center for Humanitarian and Political Conjuncture.
The main objective of the Summer School is to promote the development of political education in Kazakhstan, enhance the professional qualifications of political science and social sciences instructors, and strengthen the expert capacity of national political science.
The School brings together university faculty members, researchers, representatives of the expert community, young scholars, and students. The program features distinguished lecturers and experts from Kazakhstan, China, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. It includes lectures, roundtable discussions, and expert debates on geopolitics, international security, political institutions, democracy, national identity, and contemporary challenges facing the countries of Central Asia.
The International Summer School contributes to the development of international academic cooperation, facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience among researchers, and enhances the quality of education and training in the fields of political science and international relations.
