The event featured a rich and engaging program. The Japanese students delivered a presentation about their university and hosted a fun trivia quiz about Waseda, where our Japanese studies students showcased impressive knowledge. In turn, our students organized a warm cultural concert, introducing the guests to the rich heritage and traditions of Kazakhstan.
A special highlight of the meeting was the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Attendees enjoyed authentic Japanese green tea and tasted classic miso soup. The culinary experience continued at lunch in the university cafeteria, where the guests thoroughly enjoyed traditional Kazakh cuisine.

Over the coming week, the delegation from Waseda University will enjoy a full itinerary in Kazakhstan. Together with our students, the guests will take city tours, visit local museums, and explore the Shymbulak Mountain Resort.
