On October 1, 2026, our university psychologist, Saya Nurzhankyzy, took part in the interuniversity professional event “Psycho Express Narxoz 2026,” held at Narxoz University.
The main purpose of the event was to facilitate the exchange of professional experience among practicing psychologists and mental health specialists, as well as to develop effective approaches to providing psychological support to university students.
The program consisted of two main sessions.
Preventive Lecture: “Prevention of Suicidal Behavior Among Young People”
During the guest lecture, participants discussed current approaches to the early identification of crisis situations, risk management protocols, and ways to create a safe and supportive university environment.
Practical Session: “Psycho Express”
During the three-hour practical session, specialists, including Saya Nurzhankyzy, provided Narxoz University students with brief psychological consultations and support, applying effective emotional self-regulation techniques.
The event concluded with a summary session, an official award ceremony for the participants, and a group photo.
The participation of our university’s psychological service in regional and interuniversity initiatives of this kind promotes the exchange of professional expertise, strengthens partnerships between higher education institutions, and contributes to improving the quality of psychological support provided to students.
