On May 6th 2016 in KazUIR& WL named after Ablai Khana guest lecture was conducted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Cho Youngchon.

On 28 April 2016 in Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages was held every Annual Job Fair. During the event, there were meetings of graduates with potential employers and employment centers, local executive bodies of the Almaty city and Almaty region.

On April 28th 2016 Kazakh Ablai Khan university of international relations and world languages held an roundtable on the “Topical issues of EU-Kazakhstan cooperation” with the participation of master degree students of the MIREES program from the Bologna university, Italy, representing the Faculty of Political sciences and international relations.

On April 22, 2016 under the auspices of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence and the 1000th anniversary of the city Almaty, in Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages was held traditional celebration of Nauryz.

5-6 April 2016 in Astana, in the library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan-Leader of nation- N.A.Nazarbayev was seminar - training "World changing ideas".

Literary-musical leitmotif, was prepared by students, including the biography of poet-improvisator, videos about the creative activity of poet, reading the poems of Zhambyl in different languages ( Chinese, Arab, Korean, German, French, Japanese, Turkish).

From 23th to 30th March 2016, Doctor of philological sciences, professor S.A.Zhabotinskaya (Ukraine, Cherkasy National University) conducted a series of lectures and "School of Cognitive Linguistics: Methodological foundations" (SHKL) master-class at KazUIR&WL by Ablai Khan.

On March 31, 2016 the Chair of foreign languages for specific academic purposes held research projects contest titled "100 specific steps: We stand for a modern state" among the 3rd year students.

«The German discourse in the medial space of Kazakhstan" workshop at KazUIR&WL by Ablai Khan was held on March 28-29th.

A round-table conference on the subject of ‘Kazakhstan-China: new prospects for cooperation’ took place at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages on March 15th 2016. Nowadays, different aspects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China move to the forefront of these bilateral relations which in their order lead to coordinated research of analytical and educational organizations of two countries.
