On April 28, at 9.00 the Associate Professor and PhD of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tyrnovo from Bulgaria Teodora Kaleynska has delivered her guest lecture on «European Union and Bulgaria: problem issues and special aspects of integration». 

Within the framework of celebration of the 75th anniversary of the University on April 19, 2017, the Opening Ceremony of the Confucius Center was held on the basis of Kazakh Ablai khan University of international Relations and world Languages, in cooperation with the Southwestern University of the People's Republic of China. The rector of Kazakh Ablai khan University of international Relations and world Languages and MIA SS took part.

Moscow State Linguistic University and the Kazakh Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages ​​ with the support of the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of the CIS member states held the VIII International Scientific School of Young Translators of Fiction in the CIS countries from April 17 to 21, 2017 in Almaty.

April 17, 2017 Kazakh Ablai khanUniversity of International Relations and World Languages ​​ opened a series of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the University. On this day, the International Forum "International Scientific and Educational Integration: New Perspectives" was held on the basis of the university.

April 11, 2017 Department of international law held a regular scientific-theoretical seminar on the topic: "New civil procedure legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan practice of implementation". Professor, the candidate of legal sciences Abzhanov Aset Kubenovich talked about the innovations in the civil procedural law. The lecturers and graduate students took an active part at the seminar.

On April 13, at the Faculty of International Relations, was held public lecture of  the well-known blogger, public figure and leader of the public fund "Charitable people" Toksanbaeva Aydin (#janymbaklajanym) on the topic "Is it easy to do charity?". The meeting was attended by 2-nd year students and teaching staff.

31 Mar 2017 Department of international law held a regular scientific-theoretical seminar on the topic: "Analysis of some provisions of the constitutional reforms held in Kazakhstan in 2017". A presentation was made by doctor of legal sciences, Professor Mukhamedzhanov Eduard Bulatovich. Active participation in the seminar was attended by teachers of faculty and graduate students. 

On March 30, 2017 students of Kazakh and Russian groups of “Regional studies” major under the supervision of faculty teachers Karabaeva Z.M., Shamilov M.F. and Issaliyeva A.M. have participated in the final round of Republican Olympiad on the “Regional studies” subject at the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University with the contest of 6 universities.

Several master classes were taught in Kazakh Ablai Khan University of  International Relations and World Languages within the framework of establishment  of «Translators of Kazakhstan» foundation and international scientific symposium «Topical issues of translation in the context of intercultural communication» dedicated to 75-anniversary of KazUIR and WL.

On March 16, 2017  opening ceremony of the first Public organization “Translators of Kazakhstan” took place in the framework of one of the leading universities in Kazakhstan Kazakh  Ablai khan university of international relations and world languages. It is intended to bring together the experts in the field of translation theory and practice and to establish a community of professional translators and interpreters.
