On March 30, 2017 students of Kazakh and Russian groups of “Regional studies” major under the supervision of faculty teachers Karabaeva Z.M., Shamilov M.F. and Issaliyeva A.M. have participated in the final round of Republican Olympiad on the “Regional studies” subject at the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University with the contest of 6 universities.
At the results students of Ablaikhan KazUIR&WL were awarded for the 2nd place by Kazakh group (Kangtarbay Zhanara, Shomay Raushan, Tangbolat Akniet, Amangeldi Gaukhar and Kazhaev Azamat) and for the 3rd place for the Russian group (Tulemetova Kamila, Ashimov Akhmetkali, Kan Jiuletta, Kural Aslan and Kaharman Diyar). Moreover the following students were awarded for personal nominations: Kangtarbay Zhanara (“the best diplomat”) and Tuelemetova Kamila (“the best speaker” and personally by III level diploma of the State Ministry of Education).
