VIII International School of Young Translators of Fiction of the CIS countries "Different languages - one cultural space"

Moscow State Linguistic University and the Kazakh Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages ​​ with the support of the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of the CIS member states held the VIII International Scientific School of Young Translators of Fiction in the CIS countries from April 17 to 21, 2017 in Almaty.

Over 190 scientists and specialists in the field of artistic translation from the Russian language into the languages ​​of the CIS countries and from the CIS languages ​​into Russian took part in the work of the school. The eighth school of young translators of the literature of the CIS countries presupposes an increase in the qualifications of practicing translators of fiction and translation teachers.

The work of the Eighth School of Young Translators of Fiction in the CIS countries was attended by representatives of the Moscow State Linguistic University (Moscow), Kazakh Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages ​​, the Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilev, the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. Northeastern State University (Magadan), Tajik National University (Republic of Tajikistan), Institute of International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences of Moscow State Linguistic University, Department of Languages ​​and Culture of CIS and SCO Member States, Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture, Institute of Humanitarian Sciences Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, International Center for Francophone Studies of Moscow State Linguistic University, North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K .Ammosov, (Yakutsk), Tajik Language and Culture Center,  The National University of Uzbekistan, the Center of Kyrgyz Language and Culture of the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn, the Center for Language and Culture of the Republic of Moldova, the Center of Ukrainian Studies at the Moscow State Linguistic University State University of World Languages, North Ossetian State University named after K.L .Khetagurov.
