From 3rd to 5th April 2018 our university was visited by an official delegation from the University of Poitiers (France) consisting of professors Licia Bagini, Gaelle Chabasse, Isabelle Millon Zumstein, Philippe Rogeon, Corinne Delbart and Patrice Naudin.
The Ministry of Education of France notes the University of Poitiers as one of the best in the country.
During the official meeting between the Rector of Ablai Khan University and the above-mentioned representatives from the University of Poitiers there were discussed current problems and issues of further mutually beneficial cooperation between our universities. Also, during the workshops and meetings of the delegation members with colleagues from our university, two parts discussed the issues of the development of academic mobility programs for students, employees and teachers, the implementation of various joint activities, including the expansion of partnership on joint projects of academic research and educational programs, in particular within the Francophone University Association (AUF), issues of cooperation on double diploma programs and continuation of cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ projects.
During their visit, members of the delegation took part in the Ceremony of “International Franco-Kazakh Days” at Kazakh Ablai Khan University, as well as conducted guest lectures and academic seminars for our students, undergraduates, doctoral students and faculty staff in English, Italian and French languages.
