On September 19, 2019, the second-year students of the faculty of international relations , attended at the first plenary session "the Role of universities in the implementation of the sustainable development Goals – 2030" , which was held at the al-Farabi Kazakh national University.
It was attended by: Deputy Executive Director of the Fund of First President of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Igor Rogov, senior Vice President of the company QS LTD. from the UK Ben sowter, First Deputy Head of the International Secretariat g-global Murat Karimsakov, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Philip Martine, Secretary General of the Network of Universities of the silk road Sungdong Hwang, Senior Advisor and senior researcher at the Institute of foreign Affairs and trade of Hungary lászló Vasa, Director of Institute of digitalization and computer technology, Poland Waldemar Wójcik.
This session was very fruitful for our students to talk with guests from different countries and gain experience as future diplomats.
