TashGIV annually holds the International scientific and practical conference "Uzbekistan-China: Development of historical, cultural, scientific and economic relations"

For our partner from sunny Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, it has become a good tradition to hold national scientific and practical conferences with international participation, seminars and other events on topical issues of Chinese studies. The University continues the process of online lectures, scientific seminars, as well as the exchange of teachers' experience.

TashGIV annually holds the International scientific and practical conference "Uzbekistan-China: Development of historical, cultural, scientific and economic relations". The scientific and practical Conference, first initiated by Ph.D., Professor Akramjan Karimov in 2004, which is held in each fall, has acquired international status since 2017. The current 17th meeting included 114 participants and the entire conference was held online on November 21, 2020.

At the beginning of the conference, all participants were welcomed by the Deputy Minister of higher and secondary special education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Yusuf Kadyrovich Absoatov, rector of TashGIV Rikhsieva Gulchehra, Director of the Uzbek-Chinese Confucius Institute from the Chinese side Prof. Yang Taibao.

Telyapova Alfiya Gairatovna, who is a Chinese language teacher from the faculty of Oriental studies in KazUIR&WL, participated as well.
