October 8, 2021 at 10.00 o'clock in KazUMO & WL named after V. Abylai Khan, the Department of Kazakh Philology and the Center for the Development of the State Language in the online format organized a round table “A. Baitursynov and Language Lessons "dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the famous scientist-linguist, educator, leader of the Alashorda movement Akhmet Baitursynov and the Day of the Language of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The round table dedicated to A. Baitursynov was of great cognitive, educational and educational value for students and listeners.
The works of the leader of the nation A. Baitursynov, which are of great importance for the spiritual growth of the Kazakh people, were widely popularized, the merit of A. Baitursynov in the formation of national terms in the field of terminology was noted. The peculiarity of this round table is that 2nd year students of the faculty of training teachers of two foreign languages Talgatov Yerasyl, Serikkyzy Meruert, Salimova Gulim, Aubakirova visited the A. Baitursynov Museum, located in the city of Almaty, filmed the video "A. Baitursynov's Legacy", and Serikkyzy Meruert, having read A. Baitursynov's poem "Akyn inime", announced a challenge for reading A. Baitursynov's poems among students. At this round table, the teacher of the Department of Kazakh Philology Amirbekova Aigul summed up the results of the questionnaire survey conducted among students "The personality phenomenon of A. Baitursynov." : "Ulttyk uly tinin zhagagan galym". At the end of the round table, a resolution was adopted, which was read out by the head of the department of Kazakh philology, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Akbota Turagulovna Konyrova.
According to the resolution, it is planned:
- Annually conduct an expeditionary research week "A. Baitursynov's Heritage";
- Include in the textbook of the Kazakh language B2 the topic “Lessons of A. Baitursynuly”;
- Every year on September 5, on the birthday of A. Baitursynov, it is planned to visit the museum and hold a clean-up day. We believe that this is a tribute to the memory of the great scientist.
- To organize a challenge of reading A. Baitursynov's poems.
1 st year and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Foreign Language Teacher Training, who took part in the round table, shared their impressions of the round table, expressed their opinion and expressed gratitude to Akbota Turagulovna Konyrova and Bayan Kanatovna Akkozhina, who taught "Introduction to Linguistics". In addition, it was proposed to stage a production about A. Baitursynov at our university.
