On March 10, 2022, in the frame of the signed MOU, a Virtual Cultural Exchange meeting was held between students of the Kazakh Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages and students of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (Indonesia). The meeting was also attended by the Rector of UPNVJ - Dr. Erna Hernawati, Vice-Rector for YP of Ablai Khan University - prof. Seryozhkina T.V., Ambassador of Indonesia to Kazakhstan HE Mr Fajroel Rachman, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Indonesia HE Mr Daniyar Sarekenov, as well as teachers and staff of both universities.
The theme of the meeting was: Diversity and Harmony of Indonesia and Kazakhstan. 3rd-year students International Relations Faculty - Karatay Bektemir and Turebay Aliya made a presentation about Kazakhstan. Students exchanged information about cultures and countries, asked each other questions, and shared their impressions. All participants of the event noted the high importance of holding such meetings for the development of cultural and social relations between Kazakhstan and Indonesia.
