From March 14 to March 31, 2022, the Center for the Development of the state language at the Department of Kazakh Philology of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan held a republican practical online course "Modern methods of language teaching" (80 hours).
The first day of the course began with the lectures of the senior lecturer of the department Tungatova G.Zh. on the topic "Exercises aimed at developing communication skills". Then the course was continued by: Ph.D., Prof.Yesenalieva Zh.Zh. on the topic "The use of the comparative method in teaching a foreign language", Khamimuldinova L.Zh. "The use of authentic video materials in teaching the Kazakh language", Ph.D. Sultanova B.M. on the topic "The use of the strategy of SRT (critical thinking) in teaching literary works", master teacher M.N.Kulmanova "Language learning through song", Ph.D. Nurmysheva Sh.A. on the topic "Improving the interactivity of students with the help of texts", Ph.D.Amirbekova A.B. "Formation of linguistic and cultural competence in teaching language to schoolchildren", Ph.D.Akkozhina B.K. on the topic "Teaching professional Kazakh language using gaming technologies", Ph.D. Zh.K. Darkenbayeva "Methods and ways of teaching phraseological units in Kazakh language lessons", Ph.D. A.M. Kakenova on the topic "Modern methods and effective ways of using Kazakh comparisons".
The training aroused great interest and was highly appreciated by the participants of the course. The course participants received a lot of new information concerning modern methods of teaching languages. At the same time, they expressed their gratitude to the teachers of the Kazakh Philology department for practical tasks and effective methods and methods of teaching languages.
