On March 28, 2022, teachers and students of the Japanese section held an event on Haiku at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Haiku is a genre of traditional Japanese lyric waka poetry that has been known since the 14th century. Students of the Department of Oriental Studies and the Department of Oriental Philology independently wrote haiku in Japanese and spoke to the audience.

The purpose of this event is to reveal the potential of each student and give them the opportunity to express themselves in creativity. After the event, a mini buffet was organized. And also, the owners of the best works were awarded small prizes!
