GUEST LECTURE "REGIONAL FEATURES OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA"

On March 17, a guest lecture was held in the blue hall of our university as part of the events dedicated to the week of Korean studies. The lectures were devoted to the regional peculiarities of the Republic of Korea. Our guest is the director of the Education Center at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kim Tae-hwan. The event was attended by about 50 3rd year students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies studying the Korean language.

       

At the lecture, students were able to learn a lot of informative and interesting facts about the country of the studied language. Unusual holidays, modern technologies and little-known traditions were voiced during the performance. The lecture was in Korean, but Mr. Kim Tae-hwan was able to convey the information in a simple language for the students. The students were more impressed and more motivated to study hard.
