03/30/2022 a round table was held by the Department of Oriental Philology of the Faculty of Oriental Studies on the topic "Arabic studies in Kazakhstan: development in the fields of language, history and culture" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Alash Orda, the language reformer, the founder of Kazakh writing based on the Arabic alphabet A. Baitursynov.
Questions and topics related to Arabic studies were discussed at the round table.
