Round table "Constitutional reform in the Republic of Kazakhstan: trends and prospects of development"

On October 27, 2022, the Department of International Law held a round table "Constitutional reform in the Republic of Kazakhstan: trends and prospects of development" dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The following issues were considered during the round table:

- Constitutional reform is a reality and a given;

- Electoral legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

-Presidential power in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Kazakhstan and the world community: theory and practice of constitutional reform.

Presentations were made at the meeting by: Aitkhozhin Kabdulsamikh Koshekovich, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A. Kunaev; Zhanuzakova Leila Telmanovna, Doctor of Law, Professor, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Law of the University "Turan", Chief Researcher of the Department of Constitutional, Administrative Legislation and Public Administration of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information RK; Mukhamedzhanov Eduard Bulatovich, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of International Law of KazUIL & WL named after Ablai Khan; Duisenov Yerkin Ermanovich, Advisor to the Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; Anuarbekova Alema, Mukhametzhanova Sabina and Kopbayev Ismat are 2nd-year students, specialty: International law, KazUIL & WL named after Ablai Khan; Nurmakhan Asanali and Zaporozhets Arina are 3rd-year students, specialty: international law, KazUIL & WL named after Ablai Khan. The guest of honor was: Albert A. Trofimov, Assistant Professor of the Department of Administrative and Financial Law of St. Petersburg State University, c.l.s, Faculty of Law of St. Petersburg State University.

The round table was held at a high scientific and theoretical level.
