On 09th November 2022, the official presentation of the anniversary book dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China "Kazakhstan-China: three decades of good neighborly and mutually beneficial cooperation" took place in the capital city.
The event was organized by the Center for Chinese Studies in partnership with the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages and the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the PRC and the Embassy of the PRC and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the PRC Shakhrat Nuryshev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhang Xiao, representatives of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the PRC, analytical structures of Kazakhstan and China, as well as the teaching staff, students and undergraduates of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
The speaker from our university was the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Candidate of Political Sciences, Professor Kagazbayeva E.M. In her speech, she noted that the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages plays a special role in training a new generation of sinologists, orientalists, philologists, translators, and international specialists. The system of training specialists at the university is carried out at 3 levels of education: higher basic education (bachelor's degree), master's degree and doctoral studies. The Confucius Institute works fruitfully at the university. It was also noted that the university has one of the highest rates of academic mobility among students.
It should be noted that the presented book "Kazakhstan-China: three decades of good neighborly and mutually beneficial cooperation" come out as a result of close and productive creative interaction between the Embassy of Kazakhstan in PRC and the Embassy of PRC in Kazakhstan.
