Master class on “Photojournalism”

On November 16, the Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages hosted a master class on “Photojournalism” organized by the Department of International Communications. This lesson was conducted by the teacher of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, photojournalist, chairman of the Public Association "Photo Art" Asylkhan Abdraimovich, who shared his knowledge.

The main purpose of the general master class is to show students photojournalism in a New Light, to acquaint them with the history of the profession, to direct them to study its subtleties. Based on this, students ask: "What is photojournalism?", "where does photojournalism begin?", "what is the main purpose of this profession?"- he not only received exhaustive answers to such questions as how to take a picture correctly, why you need to pay attention to the choice of angle, what settings you need to make in the camera when editing a photo. At the master class, theory and practice were honed in parallel. In particular, the students picked up a camera and for a moment felt like photojournalists. Thus, students majoring in journalism and public relations actively participated in the master class and developed skills.

It is worth noting that the young applicants who took part in the lesson got acquainted with the new book by Asylkhan Abridaimovich and received an invitation to the upcoming book presentation.
