From November 22 to 25, 2022, Professor, First Vice-rector of the Southwestern University "Neofit Rilsky" (Bulgaria), Itska Mikhailova Derizhan, our foreign friend and colleague has visited Kazakh Ablai khan University of International Relations and World Languages. During her visit, she had been meeting with doctoral students, they were discussing the thesis problems, articles in impact factor journals as well as their upcoming internship at the Southwestern University "Neofit Rilsky".
During her visit, she conducted several lectures on the topic: "Competencies of teachers in the 21st century", "New technologies (STEM technology)" used in the educational process organization at the Southwestern University "Neofit Rilsky", and also told about the structure of the university, its faculties, specialties. She made an offer for cooperation in the international projects implementation.
A discussion on the topic "New competencies of teachers in modern society" was held at the end of the lecture. The lecture was attended by our university teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates as well as the Eurasian National University undergraduates on their internship. The lecture was conducted in a fascinating interactive format and aroused great interest.
The Professor was presented with memorable gifts and a letter of thanks by the Rector of KazUIR&WL, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor S.S. Kunanbayeva.
