The teaching staff of the faculty actively supervises the research work of students, which results in the participation in scientific research conferences and publications.
On December 2, 2022, an international scientific and practical conference "Transformation of the development of tourism management and international communications in the conditions of demonopolization" was held at the Faculty of Management and International Communications.
Young scientists, undergraduates and students of the specialties "Tourism", "Restaurant and Hotel Business", "Journalism" and "Public Relations" took active part in the conference. More than 140 reports were submitted in three sections, they will be published in the collection of the conference papers.
Section 1. Innovative trends in the modern tourism industry - 50 reports submitted;
Section 2. Problems of international transformation of innovative technologies in the hospitality industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan - 70 reports submitted;
Section 3. Journalism and PR: new trends, tools and changes in the era of multiculturalism - 18 reports submitted.
During the conference, undergraduates and students of the faculty raised current problems of the development of the tourism industry on a global scale, problems of the restaurant and hotel business, issues of journalism and public relations.
At the sessions, some reports on the problems of the hospitality industry caused a lively discussion and disputes among the students.
