On March 16, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a poetry reading competition in Turkish, organized by the Department of TURKSOY of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. 34 students of higher educational institutions of Almaty took part in this competition.
From our university, students of the educational program "Foreign Philology" of the Department of Oriental Philology of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Battal Lazzat (1st year) and Ergashova Mavlyuda (2nd year) took part in the poetry reading competition. The teacher Mr. Yalchin Yurdakul became the leader of the preparation of our students. Congratulations on the 2nd prize place to 2nd year student Ergashova Mavlyuda, who recited Sezay Karakochyn's poem "Mono Rose" by heart.
