On April 14 the Faculty of International Relations of Kazakh Ablai khan university if international ralatios and world languages, within the framework of the course "Migration processes in the modern world, United Asian Community", hosted a guest lecture by Associate Professor Khurshida Ustadzhalilova, an expert on international relations from the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Topic of the lecture: "Higher Education Integration in Central Asia: Problems and Prospects."

The lecturer underlined that in the rapidly changing modern world "soft power" acquires an important strategic value nowadays, especially for the new centers of power, namely Russia, China, the USA and the EU in Central Asia. In recent decades, the public consciousness of the Central Asian region has become increasingly aware of the global dynamics and the fact that the world in the 21st century is experiencing an acute crisis of worldview and values.

The presentation of Associate Professor Khurshida Ustadzhalilova on the role of Uzbekistan in the economy of the Central Asian region, in the system of international relations of Eurasia, which is determined by a whole complex of geopolitical, geographical, political, economic factors was very interesting for students. They were especially interested in the view of Uzbekistani people on the history and traditions of political regionalism formation and cooperation in Asia, in the problems and prospects of the development of integration alliances in Central Asia and the results of regional studies.

The Central Asian region is a place dominated by political, military-strategic and economic interests of many countries. Today it becomes obvious to everyone that no country in the world, including Central Asian countries, can develop without integration and outside the context of globalization, and how valuable and great it to exchange experience with colleagues from neighboring countries. There were a lot of questions from students about the culture, economy, and trends in the development of Uzbekistan.
