Teachers of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics Department prepared university students for participation in the International Online Marathon “The Heirs of Victory”, which was organized by G.R. Derzhavin Tambov State University (RF) and was held from April 30, 2023 to May 10, 2023.
The purpose of the Online Marathon is to perpetuate the memory of the heroes of the Great Victory of 1945, who accomplished a feat at a key period in modern history. The event is aimed at solving the following tasks:
- development among contemporaries of a sense of belonging to the most important milestone in the history of the Great Patriotic War and the desire for personal participation in the preservation of historical heritage;
- ensuring “relay race and communication between generations”, strengthening moral values in the minds of the young generation;
- creation of additional conditions for the development of interethnic understanding and mutual respect;
- involvement of young people in a joint event aimed at strengthening peace and harmony between nations.
The students of our university presented video materials where they read poems about the Great Patriotic War (individual and collective participation) and sang songs from the times of the Great Patriotic War and songs dedicated to the Victory (individual and collective participation).
The professor of the department Kabdulova K.L. prepared the following students of the group 101 of the Pedagogical Faculty of Foreign Languages: Ayazbayeva Zhazira, Serikova Akbella, Bauyrzhankyzy Zhaniya, Kuanysh Aruzhan, Zaurbek Aliya, Niyat Nazerke, Abdikul Zhenis.
