The XXV - International Children's Creativity Contest "Boztorgai" was held in the Central Park of Almaty from June 1 to June 6, 2023.
The main goal of the contest is to reveal and support young talents, popularize musical culture and art, interaction and dialogue between cultures of different countries, develop children's creativity and create conditions for realizing the creative potential of talented children.
The competition was held in three categories:
- «Vocals»,
- «Instrumental» and «Folk performance»,
- «Choreography» and «Fashion Theater».
Young talents from all over Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and other countries participated in the International Competition. They competed in dancing, singing, playing national instruments, modeling and choreography.
The organizers of the competition are the Akimat of Almaty and the Public Foundation «Boztorgai».
The jury consisted of experts in the field of culture and art (famous folk and honored artists, musicians, choreographers and instrumentalists), teachers of higher educational institutions. So, for example, as part of the jury from our university (KazUIRWL named after Abylai Khan) was a cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Uzakbaeva Sahipzhamal Askarovna.
According to the results of the competition, the participants were awarded prizes in each nomination and in each age group (cups, diplomas, medals), «Grand Prix»; Diploma of the I, II, III stages; Diplomas of the participant.
The heads and teachers of the winners of the International Competition, members of the jury and the organizing committee received Letters of Thanks for the support and development of the creative potential of the younger generation.
The international competition of children's creativity «Boztorgay» for 25 years, headed by a cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of State awards (medal «For Labor Valor», international medal «Peace and Harmony», Order «Kurmet»), who is the official representative of Kazakhstan at the International Festival of Arts «Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk» Karlygash Abdikarimova, reveals talented children who love art and music and elevates their creativity to a new level.
Thanks to this competition, many talented children received a ticket to the future.
Today, many of them have become world-famous singers and instrumentalists, successfully represent the art of their country at many foreign competitions and achieve victories.
Their names are familiar to everyone, their performances and victories on the national and international stages are admired by everyone. These are Dimash Kudaibergen, Alisher Karimov, Kuralai, Amre, Ruhiya, Airi, Eric, Yerzhan Maxim.
With the ascent of the star of the Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen on the musical firmament - the pride of the Kazakh people, singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, owner of an exceptional voice range of 6 octaves and 8 semitones – the Renaissance of the musical culture of Asia began. Dimash achieved the high status of «Artist of the World» as a result of participating in The Singer song contest in China and The World's Best Talent Show held in the USA by CBS – a global competition of unique creative people from all countries competing in various genres of art, where he won prizes.
The «Star» of «Bozorgay» Yerzhan Maxim became a participant of the «Junior Eurovision – 2018» - this was a huge success for the novice performer and opened the doors to other projects.
The competition is always excitement, creative excitement and inspiration. It gives new experiences, new ideas, a desire to change and grow, or to stop and rethink your actions. Competitive tests are not just a competition in skill, they become a new point of creative growth!
